If you are following me for a while, you know I live in Hong Kong. The coronavirus is all around, and I thought that this post might come right in hands at this time! I will talk about how to help your respiratory system if you’re sick and how to reinforce your immunity to avoid to be sick. All of this thanks to essential oils!Â
Face care routine
Hello everyone!
Talking with my clients, I am often asked what is a “good” face care routine? I don’t pretend I have the ultimate face care routine, but I can share what is working for me and some easy-to-do actions that you could include in yours – man or woman.

For once, this post won’t talk about essential oils. Going back to more natural skincare is a whole process and although I make my skin and body care myself, I don’t create my own make-up. As such, I am constantly looking for natural make-up which is not easy in Hong Kong and because I was struggling for a while, I have decided to put together a list of products that you can find either in-store or online.
I will focus only on make-up in this article, but bear in mind that there are wonderful Hong Kong-based brands creating clean skincare products! Continue reading “Vegan & cruelty free make up in Hong Kong ??”

Managing emotions with essential oils
It happens to all of us, often or not: we are walking in the street, in a park, on the beach, and suddenly there is a scent in the air that brings us to a happy place or evokes good memory: the perfume of a person passed by in the street, the smell of cooking sneaking through an open window, a flower in a park, the fragrance of a body cream, etc. Instantly, we breathe in deeply, slow down or even take the time to stop and take a few seconds to enjoy the moment.
Post Chinese New Year Detox
Hello Hong Kong friends!
For those who have celebrated Christmas, New Year and now Chinese New year, maybe you feel it’s time for some detox! After all this food (and alcohol ?), the gym might be a good idea, but not enough: some detox with the use of essential oils will help you to purify your digestive system, support your organs and clean up liver and stomach in a natural way. Here is a guide to all you need to know!
Essential oils: sleep
Hello everyone!
Currently enjoying my (well-deserved) winter break, I take the opportunity to make a sleep cure! I don’t know for you, but with the stress of the week, going to bed is a whole little ritual: I will start to diffuse an oil or a blend in my bedroom for 30 minutes (meanwhile I get ready for sleep), then when I go to bed I read for a little while, breathing the oil diffused; usually I fall asleep quite quickly. Having a night ritual really helps me, but the inconvenient is when I can’t do it, I feel stressed.
Hair routine
Hi everyone!
For my first post, I have chosen to talk about my hair routine.
I am like everyone else, I have a hate/love relationship with my hair. Some days I don’t know what to do with it and I just want to cut it shorter, and at the same time I will cry if the hairdresser cuts more than 0.5 mm…
That said, I like my hair to be healthy, voluminous and shiny. It took me a long time to find a routine, especially since I moved to Hong Kong where the water is different, the pollution level is higher and the sun is obviously stronger than my home country, Belgium.
